2012 Golden Fine Arts Festival Award Winners Special Thanks to Festival Judges Rachel Basye, Executive Director, Art Students League of Denver Rachel Basye joined the ASLD staff as Executive Director in March, 2012. Previously, she served six years with the ASLD Board of Directors, both on the Executive and Marketing & Development committees. Prior to joining ASLD, Rachel worked for 18 years at the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority, where she gained extensive professional leadership experience in strategic planning, marketing, communications and community relations. Rachel is a working artist, using various print making techniques. She exhibits her work at Knoll Gallery (Arts District on Santa Fe) and throughout Colorado. Maureen Corey, Curator of Art at Loveland Museum/Gallery Maureen Corey is Curator of Art at Loveland Museum/Gallery, where she organizes up to 10 exhibits per year in three gallery spaces. She has an M.A. in Art History from CU Boulder, with an emphasis on the art of the Italian Renaissance. Maureen organized the volunteer docent program at Kirkland Museum of Fine and Decorative Art, contributed to an interpretive project at the Denver Art Museum and has taught art history. Maureen lives in Longmont with her family. The 2012 Awards will be posted after Saturday, August 18th. |
